ERRORS in LIBYAN STAMPS

This picture is dedicated to the few modern stamps issues of Libya containing errors.
★ (top left) 1986 "Gaddafi" definitive set, 12 beautiful classic-style stamps made with engraving process, printed in Finland. All stamps show a Star of David (symbol of Israel/Judaism) on the right shoulder of Colonel Gaddafi !!! Withdrawn from circulation the same day of the issue.
★ (top right) 1994 "Gaddafi Prize for Human Rights", printed in Switzerland. The minisheet shows several errors in texts and design (e.g. "Gadhafi Price" instead of "Gadhafi Prize"). Not issued, destroyed and replaced with a second correct printing.
★ (down left) 2008 "People's Authority Declaration", printed in Tunisia. Stamp shows an error in the arabic text. Not issued, destroyed and replaced with a second correct printing.
★ (down right) 2012 "Celebration of 17 February 2011 Revolution", printed in Tunisia. Set of five stamps printed in sheets with 40 stamps each. All sheets show the old name of Libya during the Gaddafi era (The Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya) in the left down border. All borders have been cut in Tripoli before the official day of issue. Only one complete set in blocs of nine stamps with the original borders is known (our private collection).
