An unusual subject for a great set: The Battles of Libya
During the period 1980-1983 the GPTC General Company for Posts and Telecommunications, Philatelic Section in Tripoli released 44 issues (each with two stamps in pair; 88 stamps in total) dedicated to the battles of the Libyan People against the Italian occupying forces in the period 1911-1940. One of the most impressive set in the philately of Libya !!!
